What we do
In practical terms, this is how we put your involvement and your membership fee to work.
Partner benefits
We negotiate benefits with more than 18 shops and services for the school's families.
See benefits →Sports and cultural clubs
We organise and fund the parents' clubs: sports, activities and their tournaments.
See clubs →Events and community life
Craighouse Day, sports gatherings and family activities — the moments that bring the community together.
See events →School bus service
We manage the school buses that take pupils home, with a reduced fare for members.
See routes and fares →Lost property
A system to recover items lost at school.
Look for an item →Representing families at school
We are the families' voice with the school leadership: regular meetings, raising concerns and taking part in decisions that affect pupils.
Further down ↓Bursaries and solidarity fund
When a family in our community goes through a difficult time, the CDP has a fund to support them, in confidence.
Further down ↓Contributions to facilities
Part of the membership fees goes into practical improvements for pupils: equipment, spaces and projects.
Further down ↓Representing families at school
The CDP is the families' formal channel to the school leadership. We meet the senior leadership team regularly to raise parents' concerns and take part in the conversations that affect our children.
If there is an issue you think the CDP should raise with the school, write to us at c_padres@craighouse.cl or through the contact page.
Bursaries and solidarity fund
The Craighouse community looks after its own. The CDP keeps a fund to support member families going through difficult times.
The process is confidential and handled directly by the Board. If your family, or one you know, needs support, write to c_padres@craighouse.cl.
Contributions to facilities
Part of what the CDP raises goes back to the school as practical improvements for pupils: equipment, shared spaces and projects that complement what the school provides.
At every annual general meeting we report these contributions to our members.
None of this happens without our members.
Your fee funds the school buses, the sports clubs, the events and the solidarity fund.
